Reviews about Jos. A. Bank
- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆August 21, 2019, by Christopher AppelI bought a traveler suit and wore it about 4 times before the fusing started to separate, causing wrinkles in the jacket. I took it to the Holly Springs location to see what they could do. They eventually told me that they could not fix it and it would need to be returned, however they could not send it back because they were shutting down. The manager told me to go to another location and tell them what happened. Well I chose to go to this location in Cary and approached probably the least friendly individual in the store. As I try to tell him about the issue, he takes the suit and walks to the back without saying anything to me. About 5 minutes later he comes back out saying he had it steamed pressed to take the wrinkles out. I told him that was only a temporary fix and would start wrinkling again because the fusing separated from the jacket. He then started to argue with me that it was not a fused suit. Well it doesn't take extensive training and research to know that 90% of their suits are fused including the entire Traveler line (just look at Jos A Bank website in the suit description that states "modern fusing technology") The only non-fused suits are their Reserve suits and some of their Signature Gold. Luckily I convinced him to return the suit, but I can guarantee I will not go back to this location. Their customer service is the worst and they apparently lack basic knowledge of their suits.
- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★August 13, 2019, by David BaackThe guys (and girls) who work there care to perform their BEST job! You will enjoy your decision to shop at the Cary Towne Center branch! Just looked over some of the other comments, yes I never said they "were inexpensive", however sometimes it makes sense to show up when they have a sale to obtain some wonderful clothing... Dave B :)
- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆April 04, 2019, by Chase CDisclaimer: the tailor does awesome work Difficult would be the word to describe the process here. When you walk in dont expect someone to greet you or direct you to someone to help you. On multiple occasions some said “hey” and went back to their business. I was told to come back at a specified date, on both occasions I was told that they never had my suit. On the 2nd occasion there was a 20 minute wait while they searched for my suit. When I went back for additional alterations and explained how the sides needed to be taken in all that was said back to me by the older guy was “we dont do that”. I had to tell him that we would try it on and see and not until I pushed back did he let me speak to the tailor that said yes it could be done.
