  As the adept reader may decipher, Wild Birds Unlimited is a store for bird lovers. The specialty nature of this store does mean that some of its prices are higher than what I would typically pay for the supplies they sell, but they do have a wonderful assortment of backyard birding supplies and accessories, as well as gifts for the border in your life (mugs, bird themed puzzles, etc). If you need a specific bird product that you can’t find anywhere else, come here! The staff on hand were pleasant, helpful, and knowledgeable, able to speak in-depth to my questions and when assisting other customers in the store identify what products best fit their needs. One note: at least at this location, the birding supplies were strictly of the backyard variety. I didn’t see any binoculars or more field oriented goods. They may be there but if so, they were not displayed well, as I spent close to thirty minutes in this store (a small store) and didn’t see any.

  Grumpy employees. The store was empty when we came in, we received no greeting, no how can we help you. When we checked out, the cashier said, "your not club members are you". We said "did not know the was a club card"'. Her response "$25 annual fee". That's it. She did not tell us the benefits, or why we would want to join their membership club. I will be buying online. My UPS driver that rings the door bell and leaves is more friendly.
